The centrality of small-scale producers is key to anchoring food systems transformation in small-scale production due to their sustainable and diversified forms of production, generation of employment, contribution to resilience, and role in sustaining rural communities and local and regional economies.

Join our Research Program Leader for Value Chains and Nutrition, WorldFish, Shakuntala Thilsted and other panel experts in this session to explore food systems developments that can expand inclusion, create opportunities for decent work to eliminate poverty, and raise incomes across the food value chain. More importantly, the session will outline the initial scope of work and action plan for Action Track 4: Advancing Equitable Livelihoods.
