Aligning humanitarian cash assistance with national social safety nets in refugee settings: Key considerations and learning, May 2019

The next meeting of the National Action Network’s Steubenville chapter will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Schiappa Library, 4141 Mall Dr. in Steubenville.

The chapter, which includes Stark County, is one of the four National Action Network chapters in Ohio, according to chapter President Carol Ann Simmons.

Those with an interest or civil rights concern are welcome to join the organization. The national leader is the Rev. Al Sharpton.

Simmons and Canton members LaKisha R. Cundiff and Tiffany D. Cundiff attended the annual convention in New York City, which included sessions on “Mothers of the Movement,” “Keepers of the Dream,” “Criminal Justice Reform” and “Social Justice.”
