Manila, March 1, 2024 – The Committee to Protect Journalists and its partners in ‘A Safer World for the Truth’ initiative—Free Press Unlimited and Reporters Without Borders—met with Philippine authorities in the capital, Manila, to offer new and actionable information that could lead to the arrest of the alleged mastermind in the 2011 murder case of radio journalist Gerry Ortega.
