The 2nd regional technical training of the Mainstreaming Employment into Trade and Investment (METI) programme will be held as a hybrid event in Cairo, Egypt, from 12 to 16 May 2024. The training will equip participants with knowledge about the interactions between productive investment, trade and employment and allow them to apply the different methods for assessing the impact of trade and investment policies on employment.

Four technical experts from each country covered by the METI project can benefit from a full scholarship to attend the workshop face-to-face: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territory and Tunisia. An unlimited number of participants will be able to attend the training online.
