Dr. NATHANAEL-ISRAEL ISRAEL, PhD
The Honorable Rev. Dr. Raphael Gamaliel Warnock
United States Senate
Washington, D.C.
July 7, 2026
Dear Senator Warnock,
You’ve dedicated your life to two areas most people are told to keep apart: the pulpit and the public square. As a scientist, www.Israel120.com, with a doctorate from the University of Missouri, I write to you because I believe you’ll see that working between the equation and the Scripture is not a contradiction.
For years, my research has centered on a question often considered settled: what does the mathematics say about the order and timing of creation in Genesis? Using my methods, I discovered something unexpected: the timeline for the formation of the Earth, Moon, and Sun, when aligned with the text’s sequence, appears to be measured in days. Using data collected by top scientists and verified by NASA, I proved that the formation of the Earth was completed in 2.82 days, the Moon in 3.32 days, and the Sun in 3.69 days after the beginning of the universe. I present this as my personal conviction, not as a definitive conclusion meant to dismiss those still asking the question honestly. Currently, this discovery is gaining national attention as we celebrate two hundred fifty years.
I’m not bringing this up to settle a dispute, but because I believe we are both doing similar work from different platforms: demonstrating to the watching public that faith and rigorous inquiry can coexist without compromise. Ebenezer’s pulpit has always upheld that the sacred and the rational belong together, and my work supports the same view.
I have viewed your Senate record from the same perspective. Whether it’s capping insulin at thirty-five dollars a month for seniors, addressing Georgia’s maternal mortality crisis, or supporting the Voting Rights Act named after John Lewis, they all reflect a core belief that a text and a conscience, when taken seriously, should inspire action for the people in front of you. This same intuition led me to seek the truth in Genesis rather than behind it.
A Beninese-born American scientist living in the USA for more than 20 years, Georgia is my home, just as it is yours. As the founder of Science180, www.Science180.com, and author of more than ten books on science and faith, I would be honored to offer a brief either at your Atlanta or Washington office, whenever it fits your schedule.
With respect for your ministry and your service,
Respectfully and in service of our shared home state,
Dr. Nathanael-Israel Israel, PhD
