On Thursday, 09 May 2024, Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal Leader, John Steenhuisen, will bring to a close the party’s country-wide Rescue South Africa Tour in South Africa’s largest and most vibrant metro, Johannesburg.
The ending of this tour in the City of Gold is significant, as it marks the DA’s statement of intent to win over more voters than ever before in the province that will be the battleground for South Africa’s future.
As we conclude this exciting tour in Soweto, Johannesburg, a historic and symbolic place for millions of South Africans, we will outline how the DA will rescue our country’s economic hub from decades of ANC corruption and misrule.
The Rescue South Africa Tour is the DA’s biggest campaign tour ever, engaging voters across the country at events which include impressive indoor seated rallies and stage shows, musical performances, political speeches, and exciting audio-visual content.
Steenhuisen will be joined by DA Gauteng Premier Candidate, Solly Msimanga, and DA Chief Whip, Siviwe Gwarube.
