Reparations Now! Holding Candidates Accountable
With New York State having a Community Commission on Reparations, we are the closest we have ever been to realizing this long-held dream for state accountability to generations of Black people.
But what does it mean to realize reparations through the state? And if candidates are committed to the dream, how do we hold them accountable to the reality?
Join the Working Families Party on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 6pm – 8pm for a panel discussion in Flatbush on what it will take to get reparations now! We’ll be joined by speakers from the Center for Law and Social Justice, the Institute of the Black World and the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement.
