Last week Team Rubicon Global was honored with the New York Global Leaders Dialogue 2018 Humanitarian Award at the Harvard Club in New York City. The award was accepted on behalf of the volunteers and staff of the Team Rubicon Network by co-founder and TRG board member William McNulty.

Chairman of the NYGLD, Phil Scanlon addressed the audience and stated, “TRG exemplifies our philosophy of leadership by creating new humanitarian space in the service of others.”

In accepting the award, McNulty said, “[i]n the almost 9 years since we launched Team Rubicon we have deployed to over 30 countries across 5 continents dealing with the most complex of human crises – and with the frequency and severity of natural disasters increasing year over year, there is no shortage of opportunity to engage these men and women in their new call to arms – disaster response. Thank you very much for this incredible honor.”

We were humbled to receive this award and pleased to have long-standing partners and supporters present at the dinner. We recognize all of those organizations and individuals who have stood by our side as we built a global network of more than 80,000 volunteers who are responding to disasters and supporting people on their very worst days. We are so proud of the team that has come together to seed, support and grow our network of talented humanitarians, and look forward to all we know they will accomplish in the future.
