The indefinite postponement of the 10th Tana Forum
As you may recall, the 10th anniversary of the Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa was initially scheduled for 25-28 November, 2021 under the theme “Managing Security Threats: Building Resilience for the Africa We Want” in Bahir Dar and virtually.
However, due to the current situation in Ethiopia, the 10th Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa has been postponed. This decision follows from discussions between the Government of Ethiopia, the Tana Forum Chairperson and Board, the Technical Committee and the Secretariat i.e. the Institute for Peace and Security Studies.
Thank you for your cooperation, patience and understanding. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
For further information, please contact the Secretariat.
