The Harare Indaba – Zimbabwe Investment Summit 2020

Resources 4 Africa is proud to bring you the 2020 Harare Indaba in Johannesburg where industry leaders, government and investors will gather for a high-level strategic discussion on Zimbabwe as an investment destination.

This 3rd edition of the Harare Indaba will focus on the sectors crucial for the development of the country’s economy, including amongst others mining, telecommunications, financial services, and agribusiness.

Top notch business leaders, economists and investors will gather to answer crucial questions such as:
  • Is Zimbabwe really “open for business”?
  • What strides have been made to attract investment into the country?
  • What is the reality of doing business in Zimbabwe?
  • What are the current perceptions of Zimbabwe as an investment destination?
  • What is needed to drive economic stability?
  • What opportunities are there for companies wishing to set up new operations or expand?
  • What does the future hold?

Speakers from industry will engage with the Zimbabwean Government delegation on how they can work together to overcome obstacles to growth and investment. Investors and economists will bring their own perspectives and perceptions on the state of the economy and the most important drivers for change.

Under invitation is a senior delegation from Zimbabwe including Hon. Prof. Mthuli Ncube, the Minister of Finance and Hon. Winston Chitando, the Minister of Mines & Mining Development*.

We are proud to partner with Zimplats as Lead Sponsor and welcome Mr Alex Mhembere, CEO Zimplats Holdings, to the occasion.
