The Chairman of the National Disability Agency (NDA), Mohamed Jama flanked by other officials from the Agency met with Qatar Ambassador to Somalia, Hassan Hamza Hashem.

They discussed a wide range of issues including how to improve the lives of people living with disabilities in Somalia.

The meeting between the envoy and the NDA officials took place on Thursday in the capital Mogadishu.

Ambassador Hamza pledged his government’s commitment towards uplifting the lives of the people with disabilities and its unwavering continued support to them.

On their part, The NDA officials thanked the Qatar Ambassador for the support they provide to families living with disabilities in the East African Nation.

On 26 February 2022, The Qatar government through the office of Qatar Red Crescent Society ( QRCS) provided productive enterprises to families living with disabilities in the Somali capital by renting shops for them and supplying commercial input for them.
