DURBAN, (CAJ News) A BRACE by Knox Mtizwa and another gem of a goal by Danny Phiri were enough to hand visiting Mamelodi

Sundowns 3-2 defeat in a thrilling ABSA premiership played at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban on Sunday.

Sundowns scored their goals through Thapelo Morena and Andile Jali but the premiership champions could not find that much needed equaliser to share spoils.

Abafana Bes’thende as Golden Arrows are affectionately called in football circles found themselves 0-1 when Morena rifled home from close range after goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda slipped to gift the visitors with a goal.

Barely few minutes into the second half, Zimbabwean international duo of Phiri and Mtizwa banged three quick goals that changed the complexion of the match.

More to come…………….
