NAACP held a tele townhall on Wednesday, June 19 to strategize on to make election security a top priority.

The event featured policymakers and thought leaders in a candid conversation about election security, the role of social and digital media, and how we can combat the attempts to diminish the political power of the African-American community.

The featured panelists were:

  • Dr. Julianne Malveaux, Author, Economist, Civic Leader
  • Dr. Nicol Turner-Lee, Brookings Institute, Center for Technology Innovation
  • Cheryl Contee, Chair, Netroots Nation Board of Directors
