Highlighting Organizations on the .ORG Domain that Promote Health and Wellness
By Tony Connor, Marketing Operations Manager, Public Interest Registry
Regular physical activity, eating healthy, and managing your stress levels are all ingredients that contribute to a person’s overall physical health and mental wellbeing. According to a joint study conducted by Parade and The Cleveland Clinic, roughly 89% of Americans agree that getting an annual check-up is important, but only 51% make an appointment. What’s more, according to the State of Health in the EU reporting initiative, more than one in six people in the EU reported having a mental health issue in 2016. While prioritizing your health can be a struggle, maintaining a regular routine and striking the perfect balance of personal health is essential.
To help make it easier to find resources that can contribute to your overall well-being, we’ve compiled a list of organizations on the .ORG domain whose mission is to improve people’s health.
