The Enlightened Christian Gathering Youth Magnets visited a local orphanage in Ivory Park, Midrand on Monday as part of Youth day celebrations that started yesterday.
Youth Magnets Leader Winnie T and her team had goodies and a word from the ECG leader that they shared with the community of Ivory Park. Blankets and food were among some of the presents they gave to the orphanage.
By time of publishing, the Magnets were taking a walk around Tembisa, giving awareness to the community.
Tembisa is well known for abuse of drugs by youths.
The children will be playing games with the Youth Magnets and listening to inspirational messages from the youth Leadership
“Making Christ known to the kids is on top of our agenda… knowing that they are not alone and that they have people around them who care is again, essential.” said Winnie T, the Magnets leader.
Children at the local orphanage home we elated for what the youth Magnets were doing unto their lives. With a warm welcome by the well-known ECG Youth leaders Apostle Teddy and Blessing.
Both prayed for everyone and shared the word of God with the children.
